The best way to do this is listening. We have an idea in this country that it is a cop out to listen to books on tape. But, it will improve you vocab, comprehension, and memory, because only your ears and brain are working, your eyes don't have to work. It is usually our eyes that slow us down , we are busy trying to pronounce a word and so we miss comprehension and recollection. You will find that if you listen to "good books" for a two week period you will have a much better comprehension when you return to reading. You can continue to listen to audio books after your two weeks are over, but you will find marked improvement after just two weeks and you should not give up reading completely for more than 3 weeks.
