I can't give you an exact answer on how they all add up, but you'd be best suited to have a decent knowledge of those topics, as they will ALL count their own portion into the test.

Those four sections on Math & Verbal are what form the overall percentile score. The higher you score, the more options and choices you'll have at getting the job you want.

The other sections although aren't included in the overall percentile score, but do form a Military Careers score that helps match you to certain jobs. If science is a strong at verbal, coding, and science, sounds like you might like the medical field.

Do me a favor though, try to do better than I did on Auto & Shop. I got a 94 overall on the ASVAB, but on the Auto & Shop Section, a 6! So naturally I wasn't allowed anywhere near a flight line and things worked out well.

Check your local bookstores or library. They have ASVAB prep books out there that you can study like the ACT and SAT prep books. Good luck.
