Business Law Degree
Allison Said:
Is a Law and Business degree based on business? We Answered:
Business law isn't really a major in undergrad because it only provides rudimentary background needed for business majors. Focus is on business entities, taxation, and corporate issues. Accountants will sometimes take a masters in taxation, which has a lot of legal mumbo jumbo in it. However, to practice law (or to simply learn law in depth) you must attend law school first, a graduate program.Tommy Said:
what jobs can u get with a business law degree? We Answered:
You've got pretty rough grammar for a law student. But you can get a job in corporate law, basically you'd be advising businesses on contract negotiations and other business deals. Depending on your law school, you can make a lot of money there. Firms in Boston, MA bill usually between $200 and $600 an hour.Bertha Said:

Is a Business degree (MBA) essential to work in Corporate Business if I have a Law Degree? We Answered:
It depends on the portfolio of your job.1. If you are taking up a job in corporate which is only associated with law, then all you need to know is company laws. Your Law degree must be fine in that case.
2. If you are going for an executive post, or if you feel like switching over to management executive post later, then you would be required to have an MBA.
3. If you are going to start your own business, you need to be even a grduate, leave alone having an MBA!
But yes, having an MBA is an added qualification for 1 & 3 above, and essential for 2.
Given your splendid varying academic background, I would suggest you to do MBA. You could have an edge over managers who know only management, and lawyers who know only law.

Which specific Business degree should I get for Business Law?We Answered:
