Marvin Said:

What are some complex math-related fields (and their corresponding degrees)?

We Answered:

The National Security Agency does mathematical things that even the world's leading mathematicians don't know about - yet. This has been confidently deduced from the little driblets of information which occasionally emerge from their security blanket.

Don't call them. If you're good enough, they'll call you.

Anyone know the educational requirements for teaching english as a foreign language in Mexico?

We Answered:

The only way you will get a paid job teaching English, as a foreigner, is to have an excellent command of the language. (If you were interested, you can always volunteer for free, no one will complain about that.) Many places will test you, so although you do not have to have a college degree, you must know what you are teaching.

It might be possible to get a job without any previous formal training. Places like Harmon Hall like to train their employees to teach using their own methods. However, having a TEFL certificate or a degree in English will definitely help in most places and may increase how much you get paid.

Keep in mind, the payment in Mexico is not that much. Being fluent in Spanish will help you get around comfortably, but many places like foreigners who won't be tempted to speak Spanish while teaching English.

You will need to find a place that will hire you, have them write you a letter saying they are sponsoring you to work there, and use this to get an FM3 to work legally.

Shannon Said:

What are some good colleges for getting a degree in teaching?

We Answered:

Most state schools and private universities have Liberal Studies/Arts programs that fulfill the requirements to become an elementary school teacher.

You'll need to major in liberal arts, take a bunch of state tests, and apply for a credential program. Any of the "Cal State..." Schools have excellent teaching programs, but because the eduction budget has been severely cut, there will be far Less applicants being accepted into any state school.

Can somebody give me a tip, how to find colleges teaching Russian in the US or Canada?

We Answered:

Maybe look for a Consulate website. I know the Japanese Consulate website has a list of colleges that teach Japanese, so the Russian might also have something of the sort.

If that fails, google it?
