In AZ the best school is definitely The University of Arizona; as in Florida the best school is going to be The University of Florida. However, please remember, when you leave your home state you are going to get socked with out-of-state tuition fees that will triple or quadruple the cost of the school. By-the-way, the University of Indiana is an excellent school.

As a former Tampa Bay area resident, my opinion (and only my opinion) would be Jacksonville would be have cheaper housing costs. I doubt there would be much difference in anything else. A few things that are shipped into the state from the north would be a little cheaper because it is less expensive to ship to Jacksonville by truck or rail. I'm sure either choice would be fine, just very different lifestyles. Good luck with your choice.

One of my kids went to Eckerd and loved it - very happy and successful 4 years - now he is in graduate school at Princeton, so obviously he did well and got an excellent education.
