having a bachelors or even your AA with a good GPA does.
If you want something like probation go into soc.
There are lots of civilian jobs in government LE for good computer forensic people.
There are even more n private industry.You gotta be good and you have to get some internship/practical type experience to land a good job.

I totally agree with Ted M.

There is no justice whatsoever in any military service albeit, Army, Airforce, Navy and/or associated services and their Reserves.

All to often the History of Military Justice dispensed to its ranker's is a complete and total cover up to protect its higher command officers and families, politicians, government institution, big business corps and umpteen other institutions. Notwithstanding the abuse, bullying, petty discrimination officers and NCO's etc impose on their men/women and ruin their advancement/careers, and are duly allowed to walk away unchallenged!

It a wasted degree in the Military + It wouldn't take U too long to realize that even remotely attempting to dispense justice would bring U (on the fast track) into direct conflict with all the above. And they'd use every despicable means to discredit you and force your dishonourable discharge. Thus also branding U for life!

In my experience many people who earn degrees in Criminal Justice never go on to work in a law enforcement or government related job. This is because jobs in the public sector are often hard to get and because numerous jobs in the private sector can be obtained with any 4-year degree. So, trust me, you are not limited to law enforcement and government with a Criminal Justice Degree. In fact a CJ degree is not usually necessary to get a job in law enforcement; most government positions only require you have a degree (your major usually does not matter). At least half the Federal agents I have known in my career majored in something other than Criminology. With regard to DCF you should check your state's specific requirement. In my state those positions usually require a Master's degree in something like Social Work. Good luck.
