What can I do with a Master's degree in Instructional Technology?

We Answered:

I'm not sure why you're asking this since it looks like you want to teach Special Education. The MA will only help by giving you a little bit more money when you get the job.

However, I think you're MA would have given you the skills to develop and deliver curriculum to various groups. The Internet has amazing opportunities for you, if you want to explore your entrepreneurial spirit.

Also, depending on your expertise it might help with your coming up with great materials for your special ed kids.

A degree in instructional technology?

We Answered:

I'm actually looking to get my doctorate in this area. Most programs have a choice of getting that degree with an emphasis on the teaching side. If I were you, I'd consider that route. Every corporation has instructional technologists, but the media specialist side won't help you.

aHA! think: corporations are always looking for trainers. People who understand learning theory, are poised and also who can develop training programs.
