Are the life experience college degrees real?

We Answered:

many of them are. You can see if the college is accredited. the degree should still require you to take some courses.

Maria Said:

Is there a way to get a legitimate college degree from life experience?

NO. however it may help you get accepted and get transfer credit

Laura Said:

Are there any college's(for real-not fake or scam)that offer B.A. degree for life experience and wok?

Ben Said:

Which do you think is more important, college degree or life experience?

We Answered:

Life experience, a college degree is not a lot of good when rearing children or managing money, things like that

Jonathan Said:

College Degree Fast, life experience degree?

We Answered:

Trust me, you won't get any "accolades" from one of these quickie degrees. Anyone who cares more about your credentials than your actual experience will figure out that it's not the real deal and respect you less for it. Remember, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Guy Said:

how can i make my life experience make up for not having a college degree?

We Answered:

All I can suggest is get a bachelors. Try a school that allows you to test out based on life experience eg Western Governers University:

Having conducted numerous job interviews I can assure you there is a reason they want a degree. What you learn in a degree can never really be duplicated by life experience.

Thanks
Bill

Tracy Said:

Are life experience college degree programs a scam, or are they ligitimate programs?

We Answered:

Life Experience college degree programs are, without a doubt, scams.

An employer is going to want to know that the college you attended is a real college. These 'schools' are not real schools. If you have to attend NO classes, and NO online classes, and just "pay a fee" to get a degree, how could it possibly be legit?

Different hiring managers will of course, use different lists..

but

http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ/alpha/

lists such as that are fairly easy to find.

At the very least, they'll LOOKUP the name of the 'school' you 'attended'.

Discuss It!
