Master Degree In Australia

Arthur Said:

Can I obtain a Master's Degree in Australia and not just study abroad if I'm from the US?

We Answered:

No you cant - you need to study for 2 years in Australia (as one of the requirements there are others including it has to be a subject that is in need - economics are not (doctor, teacher in maths etc are) and a Masters is only 18 months long - so it doesnt fit the study requirements.

psychology's master degree from Australia?

We Answered:

Australia does not have the best degrees. Europe and the United States do. You need to apply for a scholarship. Try the Johnson Svholarship offered by Washington and Lee University in the United States. If your grades are very good, you may also give Amherst College's scholarship programme a try.

Career advice for finance major master degree from Australia?

We Answered:

in australia? isnt it out of 7??

so like a 2 out of 7?

or like a 4 out of 7, as in she just passed and thats equivelent to a 2 in the US?

and yes thats bad. maybe she should look for an entry level position thats kind of to do with finance. for example, she could get a banking job but only working in the call centre (where you don't officially need qualifications) or doing the payroll for a small business or something. once shes proven that she can work well then maybe she will be able to move up and get a better job

Natalie Said:

Can my husband do the business on my student visa? I am studying in master degree in australia.?

We Answered:

The amount of work your husband can do is determined by the specific visa subclass you and he are granted. If it is a subclass 573, 574 or 576 Student and Student Dependent visa, he can work unlimited hours all year around. If your visa is not one of the 3 listed above, he is limited to 20 hours per week all year around.

Regardless of your visa subclass, you (the student), can work for a maximum of 20 hours per week while your course is in session and unlimited hours during official course breaks.

Regardless of your visa subclass, neither of you is allowed to begin work until you have actually begun your course. There is no restriction on the type of work either of you can do.
