Ernest Said:

Can i do a masters in history instead of a 3 year degree in history?

We Answered:

You should definitely be looking at Masters not bachelors as you already have a degree in history. I find the best way to search is to do a google search on "MA in Modern History site:.ac.uk" as this will only search uni websites.

I'm pretty sure that you'd be able to do a PGCE and go on to teach both ancient and modern history on the back of your current bachelors, i.e. not need to do a masters.

If you do the masters it should be for self-interest/personal development - not for the PGCE.

Best thing to do is ring up a uni that does a PGCE history and ask!

Glenda Said:

what can i do with a bachelors degree or a masters degree in history?

We Answered:

You could become a history teacher or with a MA you could teach on the college level. You could also start a career in politics.

Amy Said:

where is the best place to go to obtain sponsorship in order to do a masters degree in history?

We Answered:

Sponsorship in America isn't really existent, that is kind of a European thing. Aid for graduate students can come mostly from loans, but check the school. There are scholarships and work related aid open to graduate students avaliable directly from the school that you she will be attending, but most graduate aid comes from loans.

Geraldine Said:

What can one do with a Bachelor's or a Masters degree in History?

You could probably become a manager at a Best Buy.

Glen Said:

What can a person do with a masters degree in History?

We Answered:

Just about anything you'd do with an English degree.

Look, unless your degree is overly specific (like Music History) it doesn't really matter what it's in. I know five people who even vaguely work in a field that can be easily connected to their degree.

Tyrone Said:

I live in CT, what are some schools near by that I can get a Art History Masters Degree on Part Time?

We Answered:

I would assume that UCONN has this. I mean, it's UCONN.
