What would you gain by an online degree? If you are interested in performance, working with faculty who can see everything about your singing/playing and can help you correct it is key. And are you going to play or sing by yourself? I doubt there are any online choruses or instrumental groups.

If you are interested in music education, wouldn't you think that being on campus and working with musicians would be a good thing? Same with music business. Same with audio recording. . . .

Most aspects of music involve either ensemble work or certainly involve other people to interact with. There is not an online source of a quality degree for this field. Depending on your specific area of interest there are many quality schools you could attend, some highly selective and others less so. Decide what your goals are and go for them, but looking for shortcuts is a waste of time.
