Nursing Degree Online

Natalie Said:

is it possible to get your licensed practical nursing degree online?

We Answered:

No, you cannot, because there are skills labs and clinical experiences, and you can't do that online. You might find a program that has portions of courses online, but no program will be 100% online. The only online nursing programs are the bridge programs for RNs to complete BSN or from BSN to MSN, and even those do have clinical requirements which need to be arranged.

Cons
---------------

If you want to succeed in online learning you need to be committed, motivated, and self-disciplined because you will be the one responsible for setting the pace of your learning experience and assignment completion. You will be responsible for signing into your online classroom and keeping up. You will be responsible for prioritizing your time so that you make time for your online classes. As with everything else of value in life, you get out of it what you put into it.

Tracy Said:

can i get a complete degree in nursing online?

We Answered:

Not completely online; you need to do science labs and clinicals in person. Some online programs arrange for you to do this at local universities; if they don't, they're almost certainly not accredited.
