Occupational Health And Safety Degree

Mark Said:

what schools in Maryland offer a degree in Occupational health and safety?

We Answered:

Information is below.

Jesse Said:

question about occupational health and safety jobs?

We Answered:

The salaries are dependent on a number of issues, with the degree being one of them. Experience and location of the job are greater factors than a degree itself.

In the NY/NJ area look for a salary of 40K to 50K without experience, 65K to 80K with the experience and the degree.

The top paying companies would be in the chemical manufacturing or pharmaceutical fields. But they would also be looking for a background in science or Industrial Hygiene and not strictly OSH.

Joe Said:

How would I obtain an Associates Degree in Occupational Safety and Health?

We Answered:

Don't get an associates degree. It isn't worth much in the market. Get a bachelors degree instead. The link below lists training centers for OSHA, which is a good starting point.

Stacy Said:

Can i use an associates degree in occupational safety and health in the military?

We Answered:

With an AAS you can enter as an E-3.
Your education would be valuable if you get a job in Safety.
Check this link and talk to a recruiter to see if it is available.

Gene Said:

O levels- are they higher than an NCFE Level 2 and what status do I get for a foundation degree?

We Answered:

Level 2 is GCSE equivelant so Level 2 numeracy, O levels, GCSE's and BTEC firsts are all Level 2 qualifications.

A foundation degree is higher than this, it is a level 4 qualification.
