Nathan Said:

Are there any accredited Universities that offer online degrees for BSW?

We Answered:

That really good on your part that you are interested to to social work. And there's no bad in going in for professional way. Know one site that offers list of colleges that offer almost all the online courses. You can check your course there hope they offer it. Go to http://www.thedegreeexperts.com/ here just enter the course and it will display the list of colleges offering it.

Hope it helps.

Can anyone recommend a University that offers ABET accredited online/distance Engineering Degrees?

We Answered:

Not yet, but Stony Brook University (SUNY) is working on getting their online bachelor of electrical engineering degree program approved by the State of NY Ed. Dept., after which they expect to also get ABET accreditation. They've been working on it for a while, and it sounds like approval is expected by mid-2010 - perhaps sooner. Classes can be taken even now on a non-matriculating basis, and they are significantly cheaper than UND. I've taken several classes, and they have been very good (and very challenging). Good luck.

Accredited online degrees without proctored exams?

We Answered:

Check out Ashford University. They will take up to 96 credit hours from another college, there are no proctored exams, the time that you log on is up to you (within reason), and they are regionally accredited so they are recognized and accepted by anyone.

Steven Said:

If my degrees were granted by an accredited online university, can I enroll in a "real" Master's program?

We Answered:

Why don't you just name the university? Is it something humiliating like U of Phoenix?

Normally, an online degree from a brick & mortar regionally accredited university is recognized for graduate study, but the graduate school is not obligated to accept any university. For example, while U of Phoenix is a regionally accredited university, many universities will not accept a U of Phoenix degree for graduate study because Phoenix' reputation is so low and the "education" obtained there is assumed to be substandard.

Felix Said:

Where Can I apply for accredited online degree?

We Answered:

As long as the college (online or campus based) is regionally accredited, any degree you earn should be accepted by any potential employers or other academic institutions.
My best recommendation would be to contact a number of colleges to find the best fit for you and your needs (tuition, schedule, career opportunities, etc.). Too often people enroll in the first school they find rather than taking the time to find the best school for them. Taking that time now could save you a lot of time, money and frustration if you choose the wrong school.
This site has some good info on regionally accredited online degrees and some colleges that offer them to help expand your search:

I think you can enter your info on there for any colleges you are interested in and they will send you more info for free. Good Luck!
