Be aware that some degree programmes. like Univeristy of Phoenix aren't really that good, while others , like Open University of U of Maryland are. So do your research before enrolling.

There are many places you CAN work without a degree. You could always get a job teaching English in one of those countries and work on your degree at the same time.
