Drexel University's Online Psychology Degree Program?

We Answered:

Personally, I think that online degree programs won't prepare you properly and aren't going to look very good on vitas/resumes.This is especially true if you're considering doing school beyond your bachelor's, nothing can replace the guidance, intellectual enviornment and one-on-one instruction that grad school offers. If financially you are struggling (thus the choice to do online, I don't know your reasons for choosing online), loans and grants can be applied for. Grad lectures are not like regular college courses. They're typically once a week for a couple of hours. So, if you have other commitments, it is easy to fit it in.
Just something to consider.

Taking online psychology courses for degree?

We Answered:

I don't know that it matters. However, most univ. will not take classes you have finished online..they are different accreditations. You also do not get aide for most online schools. The decision is yours but i would check and be sure your univ. will accept them

Psychology online degree?

We Answered:

There are several universities in the US that have online programs.

These are APA accredited schools:

Fielding Graduate University
Walden University

This one is pending accreditation with the APA, but is regionally accredited:

Capella University

Depending on the rules in the U.A.E. in regards to practicing Clinical Psychology or Therapy, you'll have to check locally.

In the United States it varies from state to state, but normally you need a Ph.D. or PsyD from an APA accredited school to get a state license to practice.
