The difficulty of an engineering degree is given due deference by the board. A civil engineering major with a 3.2 will be considered stronger than a gym class major with a 3.5, but it's not all about GPA. Athletics, academics, leadership, experience, moral character, and personality all factor in. The board looks into all these areas.
