There are plenty of entry level government jobs, and by entry level they mean that no previous work experience is required. You should visit the websites of the agencies you are interested in to apply. A lot of them you can apply online. You can apply for State Dep't, IRS, INS, SEC, Treasury, etc.

I need a job. i have ba and ma degrees, but no work experience. Any suggestions on what kind of job i can get?

We Answered:

You have fantastic qaulifications you could prob get an entry level position in any industry. So think to yourself what interests you and what you'd like to be doing on a day to day basis. Investment banks have an intake of entry level recruits next month look on the websites (goldman sachs - merril lynch etc) They offer very diverse very well paid careers but it really is upto you to decide.

Regarding the Board of Trustees in a Hospital, How do you become a member, what degrees or work experience?

We Answered:

This will vary from one hospital to another. Here is a web site that describes how trustees are selected for a non-profit county-owned hospital and what their experience, position, etc. are:

Here is another:

The Boards are usually comprised of community leaders with expertise in the fields of medicine, finance, law, development, technology, and others. A close acquaintance of mine who is a college president and ordained minister is a member of the Board of Trustees of one of the two most prominent hospitals in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Whats more important in getting a job college degrees or work experience?

We Answered:

From my experience, unless you have a professional degree (law degree, medical degree, or Ph.D.) experience gets you the job more often than not. I have a Bachelor's in math and cannot find a job. I see lots of jobs that ask for 5-10 years experience. Yeah, right? Right out of college? I don't think so. If I am with you in your thinking, you are talking about someone who is maybe a year or two out of college versus someone who has worked and is about the same age as the person who is entering the workforce for the first time. Still, I would choose college because that's what they say is the best way to work your way up. So they say.
