However given that *IS* legal for your parents to award you your high school diploma, anyone who chooses to pay out money for one probably has more money than sense.

Unless you plan on hanging it on the wall, whereupon it just becomes another thing to dust, what's the point? How many adults have ever been asked to produce their high school diploma? How many adults even know where it is? Not many, that's for sure.

It actually wouldn't do you any good at all. You see, it's not the diploma that gets you a job or gets you into post secondary school ... it's your official transcripts from your high school. And, you can't forge those because the receiving agency wants them signed AND sealed from your school. You never lay your hands on them!

Yes, you can "buy" a high school diploma and it will be as worthless as the paper it is printed on. You either have to pass an "accredited" course of work with an "accredited" high school or virtual online program, OR, you have to pass a GED, General Educational Development program to have a high school equivalency. Uh, do you HONESTLY think that you can fake your way into the Marine Corps? They will check you out, they will find out, and you will be OUT. The Marines value honor very, very highly, and you are trying to get in to "the club" by dishonorable means. No way, Jose. Don't even think about it.

I'm not sure that lying to a recruiter or to the military isn't illegal. Are you sure you want that hassle?

If you want to be a Marine, you'd best do it legitimately. Get that "freakin' diploma" legitimately and from an accredited high school and THEN try for the Marines. This country does not need any more cheaters.

Or, if you are just a gung-ho wannabe, try being a security officer for a shopping mall. You'll get to wear a uniform at least....

You need to take the GED exam and pass it. Check out your local library and ask for GED classes in your area and where to take the exam. You can not buy a high school diploma you must go to school and earn it
