You do not need a high school diploma to get into college. What many homeschoolers do is to get themselves enrolled in community college as concurrent high school students. I've known kids that have done this at 14 and 15 years old. Complete two years of community college and then transfer to a university as a junior.

Another option is to educate yourself any way you desire, whether it is online or by other means. When you feel you are prepared to do well on the ACT and SAT then apply directly to the colleges of your choice. Make sure to do your research now so you know what the requirements are for homeschooler admissions to the colleges you are interested in.

There are many good online schools out there. Two of them that I know of are Connections Academy, and K12. There both FREE! You get a diploma too. Both schools will send you textbooks, workbooks, a computer, and will help pay for your internet.
