Bernard Said:

London...Art Colleges & London gentlemen? British people's personalities in general?

We Answered:

Of course there are gentleman, but there are also ignorant men as well. They're young and most likely are out for a good time, a lot like American guys. But I think the English have more respect (even when their being cheeky) and are more opt to holding doors open for you and letting ladies go first.

England in general is an amazing place to study art. They're very creative and imaginative. I trust their taste. If you google London or England art schools a good number of Universities should come up in the results.

Amy Said:

can someone give the names of colleges in London Uk that charge £3000 or less for foreign students?

We Answered:

If that is for the full course, including accommodation , I don't think you will find much

Marian Said:

Are there any colleges in london/essex which do 1 year course in btec national diploma/certificate in science?

We Answered:

Most science courses are two years for BTEC level 3. There is a Level 3 course at Tower Hamlets in Health and Social Care that runs for one year. Altenatively you could do an Access in Science course which is also one year however you have to be over 19.

Tina Said:

what colleges in London, England would you recommend to a girl that wants to become a literature teacher?

We Answered:

www.ucas.ac.uk , the benefit of studying here is you only study one subject, rather than the whole major minor thing you have in the us and most degrees here are only 3 years rather than your 4

the ucas website will allow you to do a course search for london for lit courses, also a collage in the UK is not the same as the us, a collage here is where you go when your 16-18, i think you mean a university.

Dale Said:

Can I still apply to universities and Colleges in London, UK?

We Answered:

No it is too late as you will need to get a student visa and that will most likely take you past the time that school starts. In addition you have not applied yet and that will complicate things even further. Best advice is to apply in November 2009 for admission in 2010 and once accepted start your student visa application. Hopefully you will have your student visa decision by the time school starts in 2010.

Larry Said:

does anyone know any colleges in london which do evening courses?

We Answered:

If you go to a library in London you will probably be able to pick up a prospectus for the local adult education college. Larger libraries will also have a copy of "Floodlight" for you to look at. It lists evening courses in all areas of London.

There is a free online version of "Floodlight" here
http://london.floodlight.co.uk/london/co…

The subjects you are interested in are listed in the "Sciences and mathematics" category. You can refine your search to list evening classes only.
