Because interior students have to do significantly less learning than architectural students in the profession. Interior designers are not burdened by different construction assemblies that architects are faced with. Architectural students are not exposed to detailing, coordination with consultants, field and contract administration. There is a whole new world of learning for architectural students once they hit the profession while most interior designers can hit the ground running. So the productivity of an architectural intern is handicapped by their learning curve. The employer must set up a salary that would still make it profitable for the company.

If you did 3-years Diploma in architecture after class 10th than your qualification can be helpful in getting admission for higher study in the relevant area of study.

Students who passed 10th +Diploma seeking admission to B.Arch course should obtain the eligibility certificate, from the concerned Institutes/ colleges.

Class 12th can't be compared to a diploma course after 10th. as 12th is a basic education or required qualification to enter higher education in various fields as per the taken stream such as Arts, Science, Medical, Commerce.
A diploma after 10th is a technical education in a particular field of study and can be helpful in getting higher education in the that particular area only.

anyways.... she can go for a bachelor degree in architecture

if she is from the state of Maharashtra or Karnataka.... she can try YCMOU .... this university has distant learning courses for architecture but the study centers r situated in the above mentioned states only....

otherwise she can contact the Indian Institute of Architects' any zonal chapter for the details .... they also provide the degree

and if she is not interested in degree then she can learn a bit of design soft wares like 3d max, photoshop, coreldraw, etc
