Architecture and Cad jobs!!!! in the UK (preferably in sheffield or birmingham)?

We Answered:

I'm not sure about specifiIc comanies but in the UK's current economic climate is less likely that you'll get a job at a top company with only diploma, as there are already many experienced unemployed people & university graduates looking for jobs. A top company would be more likely to hire people who already have experience/qualifications.

If you/your family are able to provide financial support in the short term. There is nothing to stop you contacting companies. You could ask if they would be interested in offering you a work experience placement, maybe you could even offer to work for free for a period. This would give them an incentive & It could allow you to get a foot in the door & gain on-the-job experience and give you an opportunity to demonstrate your character & skills.

You never know, if you impress them, they might offer you a full time position, and If nothing else, you could gain useful experience for the future.

Good Luck

QUESTION ABOUT ATTENDING NROTC COLLEGE?

We Answered:

Your dream of becoming a (Marine Corps) commissioned officer does not have to die if you are not able to attend SUNY Maritime.

Pathways to becoming a Marine Corps Officer:

NROTC - Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps, a program where one commits to eight years of service, with at least four years as active duty, during the later half of college (the first two years are commitment-free, the later two require a contract)

OCC - Officer Candidate Class, a program for college graduates

PLC - Platoon Leaders Class, a program for college students with at least one year left. The student trains during the summer.

Any of the above routes can lead to a commission.

I’ll move to Australia after 6 Months? Some Advices Rquired please..?

We Answered:

okay i live in sydney but have lived in queensland in the past my advice to you as im married & my husband works in construction & is orginally from lebanon ..i would say sydney it has alot of construction work available not like queensland perth & melbourne where it is very limited .....you could earn $200+ a day here but im not sure of your job exactly you could earn more but i know there is alot of work available here....
ok as for living dont think if you move here your are going to save thousands in a limited time as i know alot of people that have this expectation & its a big disappointment when they dont achieve it i will let you know now people that go overseas & brag about there cars, houses etc (which make people think oh australia is full of money & all there money problems will go) those people are lieing its either #1 finance #2 housing commision or #3 they have worked bloody hard for years to save every dime & lived off barely nothing .. i know this as my husband & alot of my past friends had that expectation & were disappointed to find life here hard ....living expenses ... one bedroom depending were you live in sydney 1 bedroom flat ranges from 150-240 sydney west like bankstown, liverpool, punchbowl, lakemba,ca… park are going to be in that range if you like to live in an area like burwood , ashfield, brighton le sands parramatta , bondi you will be paying more for a 1 bedroom flat .. i live in liverpool & i pay $205.00 a week for a 2 bedroom unit it is in a **** area & i hate it but its what i can afford my advice would be find a friend to live with that way you could split half of everything as electricity will cost around between $180 -300 every 3 months ...food would be about $100 a week if you smoke cigarettes more.. dont forget petrol for the car if you drive so find someone to live with you & split it half half anyway i hope i helped & enjoy living here all the best
takecare & goodluck

Civil Engineering Technology: Construction Management vs. Municipal?

We Answered:

They're quite different, construction management deals with managing a construction site while municipal is more about urban management, it's more planning than construction, I say go for con management because I don't think you'll find a job in municipal , for a guy with only two years diploma,

Discuss It!
