I have been a Chartered Accountant in industry for 30 years after 5 years of articles. Really enjoyed it but would not go back to the profession - not everybody's cup of tea. But all qualified accountants are on a good wage.

I finished this qualification in 2008 and I've found that it is respected. I work at an investment bank and of course the most revered qualification is still the CFA... but I think you can also explore getting exempted from the first year of a Finance Masters Program using this qualification as well.
