Is advanced diploma in hospitality management a good course for pursuing pr as well as employment in australia

We Answered:

Yes, if that's something you would like to pursue. This field in particular requires lots of hands-on experience, so make sure that your school offers internships, work-study and experience programs along with curricular instruction. Also, make sure that your program is located in a touristic area, that way you'll have plenty of job opportunities. Is the Hospitality Management diploma off the PR list Australia?

We Answered:

You should never study anything just to get PR. Australia is removing almost all of the degrees that will get you PR. New graduates that have been coming from places like Indian and Asia have ben a problem in the past - they have been unable to get jobs as no-one will hire them.

Study what you want in your own country, then after you have some experience and if this career is still on the PR list, then you can apply for migration.

Which private schools / unis is better for Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management?

We Answered:

Just to add on, and hopefully it will answer your questions as well;

In any case, you have made quite a good shortlist of schools to have your education.

Both EASB and PSB Academy are in the first 6 schools to receive the EduTrust accreditation, while that doesn't mean Kaplan won't be able to get it, it is at least some early assurance because no idea if any more will be awarded before you make your decision - it is afterall a very thorough assessment.

It is not exactly fair to pick schools based on pricing - while I understand budget could be an issue, your quality of education and school experience should be of priority. That said, I would believe that both EASB and PSB Academy offer recognised certificates, but if further education is in mind - do look at their partner universities as well i.e. the pathway that they can provide.

Both schools offer internship programmes, though PSBA, I hear, has a pretty established Student Services - in terms of career counseling, consulting and guidance, and their strong heritage and linkages to the industry is key for you to being relevant in your desired industry.

Hope that helps :)

Recognition certificate for the diploma course in Kohinoor Institute of Hospitality Management?

We Answered:

I think they are referring to a Honorable Dismissal here in our country after i graduated from a college i asked for an Honorable Dismissal, it is a certificate given by your former school a proof that you have completed your college there without any accountabilities and with a passing grade of course...
so aside from the Transcript of Records (which contains your grades and the subjects and units you have taken) the school also provides us with a Certificate of Good Moral (which certifies that you have been a good student with no bad records at all ) and an Honorable Dismissal...

so i hope you get an answer soon...
:)

I'm going to do a diploma of Hospitality management!?

We Answered:

A question--why did you go into hospitality management if you didn'y have an idea what you were going to do with such a degree. It seems pretty obvious that you could work in the hospitality industry--restaurant management, hotel and motel management, travel agency work, etc. You could probably go into other businesses as well, not to mention government jobs. It just seems to me that hospitality management is one of those trendy degrees colleges are offering these days. Why not consider switching over to a straight management program? If you want to go into management work, that would seem to give the most flexibility.

Discuss It!
