a security system for a car where the ignition will work only if you swipe a card with all your credentials plus your personal password code. Once you swipe this card, the information will be sent to the RTO (registration) office and once they verify it, the ignition will work. It will take just a couple of seconds. The concept is the same as an atm card.

OR

Make your own lan based video player where all the information based videos from the CDs in your college library could be streamed from any computer in the network (say in your hostel) and multiple students could refer to these from their hostels without being present in the library or borrowing them. It's just like a compressed version of youtube.
