Some people may disagree with me about this, but I feel that there is a recent trend toward de-emphasizing master's degrees in business. I think they are less valuable than they use to be, and I think the main reason is because everyone has one.

If I was going to hire an employee, I would much rather they have 2 years of strong, management level experience at a successful business than their MBA, unless the degree is from a phenomenal institution like Harvard.

One small caveat- I believe that a law degree is perhaps the best way to really break into business. People that go to law school know how contracts work, how corporations work, how the tax code works, how property is managed... basically everything a good businessperson learns!

this is the type of diploma u take when ur looking to run ur own business...which is why so many people that take this course are left jobless...

sorry but i have to be honest...this is one of the worst courses u can take because it is not specified and is too broad...which is the reason why i didnt take it at uni...

You can try administration in the civil service as they only require 5 good GCSE's. Your BTEC would be a bonus.

BTEC as this is better beacuse it actually shows you know alot about the subject. the access course is just an introduction course top show you know some understanding.

the key to getting a job is the interview, you can get jobs in sales, marketing, business processing, the key is to know about the company, the profession, and learn to interview the prospective employer to match your specific needs. for example many companies ask what income you want, I would suggest telling them you would expect them to compensate you based on the skilss necessary to do the job, be proactive and reasearch every prospective employer, they need you as well as you needing them
