Actually my friend is qualified in mental health nursing, and she works in an adolescent unit so yes you can. You would only need an additional childrens health diploma if you were working with children with physical health problems.

If you got your PN diploma it would take 3 years to upgrade to BSN. To be a doctor you would to start back at square one. You would need to get an undergrad degree, 4 years of med school, then at least 2 years of residency, depending on your specialty. If you became a pharmacy tech you would have to start at square one.
