Good dual degree programs with a JD?

We Answered:

A lot of schools have dual degree graduate programs, whether they be JD/MPA or JD/MPP. As for the JD/PHD I havent heard of that one but it doesn't mean that those programs do not exist. Before anything, if you are strongly considering a JD you really what to think of certain things. For example, where do you want to practice law? What type of law are in interested in? What schools of the law school clinics that pertain to your interests? What is the bar passage rate of the school you are applying to? What percentage of the law school graduates obtain job w/in 6 months of graduation? Also, remember that if you are applying to a dual degree program, you have to get accepted into BOTH programs and apply to them separately. So if you get into one program and not the other, then basically you've put yourself in a hard position. Another option would be to apply to for example an MPP program, and once you've been admitted and completed a year of the program then apply to the JD program. You have a lot of things to consider and think about. Also, if you do the programs full time, including during the summer sessions you could finish in 3-4 years. As for the PHD, that'll take a minimum of 5 years because you have to do field research etc. Best of luck to you. Let me know if you have any questions.

can you pl suggest best rated online programs to earn dual degree in teachers education?

We Answered:

plenty of online schools offer bachelors degrees and masters degrees with a teaching emphasis - but that is not sufficient to teach. You need a credential.

I have been answering this the same way for the last year - There are no schools that offer one.

You cannot become a teacher online only.

Do all colleges provide dual degree programs?

We Answered:

That's a double major, not a dual degree - dual degree refers to getting degrees from two separate schools at once. Yes, almost all colleges will let you do a double major.

Do All universites offer dual degree programs?

We Answered:

No not all of them.

And whatever you choose. But realize the more different the two majors are, the more you pay and the more work you have to do. The more classes that overlap for each major saves you money and stress.

What universities in California have MD-MBA dual degree programs?

We Answered:

Consult the Official MBA Guide. It's a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, etc), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. Schools list their dual degrees, report their accreditation status, tuition cost, number of students, class sizes, program length, and a lot of other data. Schools provide data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, and much more. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. It's the best service available at http://officialmbaguide.org.
