I never went to prom and trust em I don't regret it. It's an excuse to waste money to have a shitty time. And no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you getting your diploma online. Just make sure that you are going to an accredited school! I have one for you if you would like to contact them!

From Kaplan University Online, they now have an online high school and it is called Kaplan High School. Look it up and call them.

As for the guy, you don't know if he likes you but you do know what you can get, and that's an education. Think about that first. Your bf can leave you, but your diploma can stay with you forever!

I took my HS education half online half in school, you learn more from the in school stuff, and self- motivation can be difficult.

If you want to do this just so you don't have to go to school, its not worth it, but if its for medical reasons, then you can always try a class or two before starting a completely online program. Also, public school is free, online is not.

As far as at your own pace, you usually have six months to complete a class, but if your a good student and put in two hours per class per day you can finish up five classes in three and a half months.

My personal experiance was you had to put in about 6-8 hours a day give or take ( one to two hours per class) , but you always work at you own level, you dont have to worry about other kids pushing you too fast or holding you back.

P.S. Indiana University High School has an excellent online only program that colleges view as Honors level classes if you do decide that online is right for you. Good luck!

A real, accredited diploma from an online company that makes you take classes and submit work and take tests for each class you need would be better than a GED. However, the majority of sites are scams, not accredited by real accrediting agencies, and won't make you do any work. A GED is better than that. Keep in mind you cannot do a GED online - any site offering to let you take a single test to get a GED or a diploma is a scam.
