Any jobs with a high school diploma?

We Answered:

What is the minimum hourly rate you think you could live on?

Bank tellers make about $10 an hour to start out and only a high school diploma and not having terrible credit are required. Unestablished credit is ok, they just try not to hire people with bad credit because it doesn't look good for a bank to have people that have made a lot of mistakes with money handling other's money.

Tellers have a high turn over rate, meaning most don't stay at a bank long, so bank are almost always hiring tellers. You could go to your current bank or a few close to your home and ask for applications. I would almost guarantee you will get an interview at each one.

The best part about the job is you get evenings, weekends, and holidays off, leaving room for a personal life or a second job, and it looks great on a resume in the future because you look very reliable and trustworthy. The worst part of the job is that you have to deal with the general public on a day to day basis and that means dealing with some angry and rude people.

What are good paying jobs that only require a high school diploma?

We Answered:

you can really only hope for minimum wage jobs without a college degree. i really suggest you try to enroll in a community college. you definitely don't need outstanding grades to get into one and it will really help you start a career! without a degree, you can get random jobs but it's very difficult to start an actual career.

What are some good paying jobs that only require a GED or a high school diploma?

We Answered:

It all depends on if you are willing to learn some. Construction takes no college, but requires additional training. I know someone who become one of those flaggers.

There isn't a lot for GED, but the thing is, you can get into like data entry jobs which might pay like 10 bucks an hour, and work up from there, but reguardless if you graduated college or high school, if you dont continue to learn you wont ever get very high.

Also butchers at like albertsons get like 14-16 an hour, but takes like 2 years or more to get that much.

I still strongly suggest a college education, even more so in this economy as right now the number of educated people without jobs is very high.

College is just good all around, factory jobs blow. I worked in one, and with summer days hitting 120 in the factory, it sucks. Instead i went to college, and coming out of college i got paid 35 an hour and got to work from home.

Anyway to answer,

any service position. working at home depot, food resturants, anything like that. You will start off at min wage, but after a few years you get paid decent. So you can either work your way up in pay through years of service to the company, or you can go to college and have fun and come out earning that much.

Iraq jobs with just a high school diploma?

We Answered:

I think the only jobs requiring no experience are with the military. You do have to get training though.
Type iraq jobs / no experience needed in Google. I think there's alot of scams out there.

Julia Said:

What jobs can i do if i have just a high school diploma?

We Answered:

You can do anything you want to do. It isn't a rule that you have to have a degree or accreditation in order to get a job that is more professional. Skill is more important than education. Sometimes people spent a lot of time bettering themselves in a certain subject, and dedicated a lot of time to learning on their own, at the same time some other student gave half the effort studying in college.

What are you good at?

Anybody can do insurance, just be weary of the scams. Keep your eye out for jobs that have openings, you could always get a front desk or admin job. Retail is always flexible, just apply at upscale stores. Once you decide what you are open on doing check out websites such as simplyhired, craigslist, careerbuilder, jobing, and monster.

Perfect your resume and publish it online on any of those sites except for craigslist. Go to all the career fairs you can attend.

The best advice given to me was something that a lot of people over look. When you get an interview, always get the business card if you can of the interviewer. Send an email or letter saying thank you for the interview THE SAME DAY. Two business days later, call back to follow up.

Good luck!

Caroline Said:

without a high school diploma, what jobs are available?

We Answered:

That depends on who you know. In fact, with a high school diploma, how good of a job you get depends on who you know. Come to think of it, even with a bachelor's degree, how much you make professionally depends on who you know.

Actually, just find some famous and/or powerful friends. Then you'll be fine.
