High School Graduation gowns with some wearing different color?

Oscar Said:

Why is the high school graduation rate for hispanics in America so low?

We Answered:

I don't know, but the "they have to work to have food on the table." BS.

I was on my own when I turned fifteen. I paid for an apartment, two cars, a motorcycle, insurance, utilities, pg&e, and all of my other bills while I went to school and worked full time. I'm not saying it was easy, BUT, I'm saying it can be done.

I'm 24 now if that makes a difference.

Duane Said:

How important was your high school graduation to you?

We Answered:

I think the high school graduation is a LOT more important. Basically the med school graduate is an adult and not so closely connected to the family in a lot of ways. Also more importantly they are a lot more mature and able to handle and accept that sort of disappointment.

My graduation was not too important really, it was a small school and a very small ceremony. but I would have been unbelievably disappointed if my immediate family didn't come. The rest of the family like cousins, aunts, grandparents etc not coming wouldn't have made a difference to me.

Mildred Said:

Should I walk at my high school graduation?

We Answered:

I think you should walk because it is an individual event as much as it is a schoolwide ceremony. This walk is supposed to be a capstone in your life and "should" give you a sense of accomplishment. Sure, you might loathe all of the people at your school but you shouldn't deny yourself the once in a lifetime event. (You could always skip the reunions ten years later).
