A LOT of universities offer online classes (including ivy leagues- even harvard does!) Just check that the colleges around you have the classes you need and that they offer them online, apply, and just register for only the online classes. No contest! The Open University is in a class of its own when it comes to distance learning. It regularly makes the UK top 10 against traditional unis and its teaching materials are used in brick unis as they are so well developed. With such a large student body, they have the facilities to really think through their courses.

The university was started in the 1970s under Harold Wilson (one of the only competent things he ever did) to allow a second chance for those excluded from conventional unis which at that time were very difficult to get into. Distance learning is all they do which is why it is so good at it.

Go to their website, there are a wealth of courses for every taste and nowadays there are on line conferencing facilities that allow them to teach subjects like German too.
