why are there not many construction professionals in singapore? We Answered:
Yes, I think you should check your data first too. With so many construction projects going on in Singapore, there are many construction personnel - professionals and non-professionals in Singapore. But the only thing is many of them are not Singaporean, mostly foreigners.Stacy Said:

Quantity Surveyor?We Answered:
I'm a chartered surveyor but on the commercial side. I did 4 years at uni and then I spent two years after I had graduated working for a company in London and working towards my professional qualification (the APC). While I was training, my salary didn't go over £26,000, despite me working in the middle of London. I qualified three years ago and I'm now earning in excess of £50,000 per year, as well as a hefty bonus, company car, pension and healthcare scheme. If you're boyfriend is earning around £25,000 then I'd say that's good for where he is in his career. Don't forget that his company are paying for his course fees, tuition fees, and professional fees which can add up to around £6,000 per year. Once he's qualified he should see his earnings increase really quickly - tell him that its not worth dropping out at this stage, he just needs to get is head down, work hard and he'll reap the rewards in a few years.Tracy Said:
I want to become quantity surveyor. please guide? We Answered:
You can become a trainee at a company, you may not get payed alot but if your a quick learner you will get better positions quicker. The best QSs I deal with give me acurate plans and job specific details I need, to do my pricing.
In the past week Ive had to ask for more plans with better veiws and sent back to 2 QSs. Which takes time, for them to compile all there info.
Back in the old days we used to get sent big printed plans, now its all on disc or via email, so you can do you job from a chair.
