Which neighborhood in Vancouver, B.C....?We Answered:
Kitsilano, without a doubt is the best place for you to live. Beaches, young people, safe, former hippie area a little more yuppie now but still holding on to its roots. You are able to walk everywhere to do the things you need to do. Greenpeace started here. UBC also has lots of places to live on campus. If you are interested in meeting new people who are students that would be a good place for you to live for the first semester until you get your feet wet in the city,UBC offers discounted bus passes and is the most economical way to get there. They also have fast track buses to get there ( refered to as B line buses ) from Kitsilano it would take 20 minutes, same as driving really.

Education in Canada and the US for an English Student? We Answered:
Try the embassy website, they will have info on visas. You may be better waiting until university as it may may difficult to join high school half way through. Try and contact the school/uni you would like to go to direct as they can give you loads of info and help with planning. I'm also pretty sure that canada doesn't accept international students at undergraduate level anyway. So you may want to check.Carolyn Said:
Is it possible to get a international student loan with todays crashing economy? We Answered:
Higher education is getting expensive day by day. Students have to pay tuition fees as well as living costs. The actual cost varies from course to course and institution to institution. In broad terms, courses in science and engineering are more expensive to run than courses like psychology or English. And if the matter is of studying overseas, the scenario takes a tacit turn. However, you need not worry about the expenses since authority has come up with the provisions of international student loans. With the money provisions, your dream of pursuing a masters or doctorate degree or any other higher studies get brighter.William Said:

Best place to immigrate.?We Answered:
It really depends on what kind of life you are looking for, and what age you are at. If you are young, I will say go to Toronto because that's where all the jobs are. The universities there are among the finest in the country. The universities of Waterloo, Toronto and Queen are consistently rated the best universiies in Canada. The entertainment is the best in the country. It is the manufacturing capital of Canada and it has 9,000 factories in the Torornto area so there are a lot more jobs. Also Toronto is the financial capital of Canada. Bay Street controls the finance of the country and all the banks head offices are in Toronto. So there are a lot of financial jobs.
If you are a little older and looking for a place to retire, Victoria or Vancouver is where you want to settle down in. There arent many jobs in these nice cities but they are good places to settle and retire if you have lots of money. The housing in these cities are the most expensive in the country, so if you are young, there is no way you can afford to buy a house here. There are lots of old people in these cities. Just try walking around and you will see what I mean. There are no manufacturing factories in these cities so there are no jobs, except if you want to serve hamburgers at the McDonalds here. The weather - iIt rains all the time here and it is really depressing weather. Canadians go there to retire and wait for their Creator.
