The thing is if you blame everyone but yourself for getting into debt you will have a bad attitude that will stop you from succeeding. You are the one who decided to borrow money and the government allowed you low rates. Bankers are supposed to loan money, you really can't give them all the blame for how much you borrowed or what you spent it on.

Many people end up without student loans or very small ones no bankers and government forced us to take loans.

When you are deciding to take on debt you must look at how you are going to pay it back. I hope you learned something in school so you don't have to take a job that doesn't require a degree.

For many years education was handled by the states and by local boards. There were some inequities that were mostly racial in character. There were and are areas where poverty is the rule not the exception. So you ended up with good school districts and bad school districts. Hasn't changed a bit since the feds got involved. The only thing that has changed is our kids are getting less of an education now than they used to. Teachers now have to teach to the federally mandated test. In this country, scores on tests for math and science are falling, reading levels have not improved and in some cases are also falling. Teachers are over regulated as are our neighborhood schools. In my opinion educating our children is a job better left to states and localities. This is where our voices can be heard. The guys and gals in Washington never hear us they just hear each other.

Did you say dropout or take a leave of absence from med school? If you taken a leave, then I suggest going back and just finishing. Stick out to a few years of being whatever, doctor, physician and then when you pay off your debt, do what you like.

Other than that, the most important thing you can do right now with your situation is to pray about it. Really, I'm being serious about it, God cares and sees what's going on with your life. If you pray about it, He will show you a way out. 1 Peter 5:7, "cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you".
