Title IV (Financial Aid ) for Distance Education at Foreign Institutions?

We Answered:

If you find a US school that offers study abroad as a program, then you can use your title IV money. The title IV money has to go directly to a US school, it cannot be sent to an international school.

Sallie Mae will let you use private loans to study abroad, you CANNOT use the stafford loans through Sallie Mae, as they are title IV and must be certified by a US school.

Check to see if you can apply to a school in the US that offers a study abroad program with the school you wish to attend. You can study abroad for more then 1 semester.

Where can i get the best distance learning education in Economics in the UK?

We Answered:

The Open Univeristy... Best distance learning college by far.

You don't need to do a full degree with them, so I would imagine they will have some Economics modules you could take and probably get a diploma or something...
