Early Childhood Education credits (online class only) in California?

We Answered:

Have you tried an Internet search (try searching by typing "Early Childhood Education courses" in a search engine)? Also try your community college or state college. Private colleges are the most expensive (approximately $1500 per class, not including textbooks). You might have to ask for the cost of courses at the various colleges because they usually don't advertise the prices.
Emailing several colleges might give the quickest answers to your questions. Good luck.

Best online Early Childhood Education Degree?

We Answered:

Well if you want to study for two years, an associate's degree would be a better option for you. A bachelor degree in early childhood education would take four years although that could be cut down to three should you take extra work loads.
A lot of people think online degrees are a breeze but the fact is that they are not if taken from an accredited online college.
There are a few colleges that I can recommend but do not be limited by these. You may do further research as this is a crucial decision.
# Penn Foster College
# Kaplan University
# Jones International Online
Whichever college you choose, make sure you check its accreditation first. Attending an unaccredited college would mean wasting your time and money. There are many diploma/degree mills out there. They will lure you into joining them by charging low fees and offering easy course content. Having a degree from such institutions is embarrassing.
You must also check out the faculty of the selected college. A background research on the qualification and experience of faculty is very important. Ask the students of that college for their opinion. They could reveal what the college may be trying to hide.
Here is a link that gives more details on early childhood education degree.

Accredited colleges are usually expensive. You could search for scholarships if you are related to einstein (lol) or seek financial aid.
Best of luck

Where cani find information about taking online classes in getting a certificate in early childhood education?

We Answered:

Check the colleges in your area. Many colleges have classes online. You want to be close to the school though, if you run into problems, you want to be able to talk to your professor face to face. I took several classes online, I have a few suggetions for you, if you don't mind. You need to set up a certain time everyday where you do your school work. The classes I took, on Mondays the professors would post questions for us to answer about the chapter or discussions he/she wanted us to have with our several classmates. Wednesday we would have to post our answers and read our classmates answers and on Friday we would have to post our comments about our classmates answers and be prepared to defend our answers. As you see the online class take just as much time if not more then sitting in the classroom itself. Of course this was just the college I went to. Some might have more, some less. Hope it helps and good luck
