Education For Children

Juanita Said:

How do they test special education children for eye problems?

We Answered:

When he went to get his eye checked out, they probably made the test easier for him to understand.

Instead of saying what letters you see, they could of had what animal or shape you see. Whether you have down syndrome or not they do random testing on your vision.

A high intelligent person can wear eyeglasses as a person with a low intelligence.

Lesson plan for special education children?

We Answered:

How old are the special education kids? if they are old enough to know fractions, you can turn it into a math/ following directions project, with cooking. get a recipe of something that has quite afew ingredients, but also something that you can make in less than 45 minutes, like cookies. make the recipe of the thing your cooking too little or too big of amount, and then for the class have them figure out how much of each ingredient they need if the recipe needs to be doubled or tripled, or cut in half or divided by three or whatever amount. then you can have them make it with the measuring spoons and cups.

it would be working with math and following directions, and cooperation skills.

45 minutes would be long enough to figure out the math and get all the ingredients mixed together. cookies would be the easiest thing that I can think of. you would probably have to store the mix in the fridge or something and bake them later, then give them to the kids. at my school I know theres the home economics classroom that they would let you put them in the oven to bake.

You'd want to plan out how they should work together on this project. If theres quite afew students split them into groups that each group can make there own batch.

Hope this is an appropriete lesson plan for your assignment. good luck with it.

children education-do infant schools good enough in United kingdom?

We Answered:

They vary considerably, some are fantastic and others quite poor. The state education system is very over stretched. Often there are far too many kids in the class and no assistants for the teacher. Where children come to the school unprepared ie; they are not able to dress themselves for PE, sit quietly for a few minutes or do as they are told then the whole class suffers.

Relative to other european countries our education system is very poor indeed. However teachers here do the best they can with very limited resources, and a wide range of children to educate. My kids have never had a bad teacher, but have been in some very bad classes, where learning has been very difficult!

What is the best city in Florida for children, education and cost of living?

We Answered:

i live in gainesville, fl and its a nice place to live but VERY expensive. rent skyrockets every semester when new students come to town. its a good size town, but it gets very crowded with the students everywhere. i would actually like to move somewhere else in florida that isn't such a student town.

Mae Said:

how many parents plan to pay for their children education?

We Answered:

i think it's mandatory that parent pay up to their kid's bachelor's degree unless kids decide to go independent.
but anything higher than bachelor's, kids are on their own.
