Barbara Said:

I need information for websites that will give grant money to schools for physical education needs.?

We Answered:

The best place to start is grants.gov. It is the official federal government website for grants. You can search Google.com and Yahoo.com for grants from your state government. I will include a few private source for funding, too. Good luck!

Ella Said:

Can a new teacher / education student get special grants to pay off college loans in exchange for teaching?

We Answered:

Check with the agency that issued your loan. Many times they will cancel a precentage of your loan if you teach in a public school that is deemed to be a critical needs school. This is exactly what happened for me many years ago and I teach in Mississippi. This is my 25th year of teaching.
You may want to look into TeachAmerica, I think they offer a similar benefit.

Janet Said:

Does anyone know about any grants I can apply for that would pay for my college education?

We Answered:

Contact the schools that you are interested in- you can look online and check their financial aid/assistance programs. AES.org is a site that can give you some information, but checking directly with the schools you are interested in is your best bet for accurate costs and what they can offer you in the way of grants/scholarships.

Jared Said:

Where can I find info on available grants for college education, especially for the children of teachers if br

We Answered:

You can try fafsa.org and finaid.com or finaid.org. Also many high school guidance counselors' offices have additional informaition and applications for financial aid.
