Education In Denmark
Judy Said:
Is accreditation for education in Denmark possible? We Answered:
I have checked the links in this article and they are very real. The pork reference is correct although I am not sure that the reason for using bio-fuel is anti-terrorism. I live in Aarhus (No jokes please).
I know it is difficult to transfer credits for education taken abroad to Denmark, but it should not be as difficult the other way. Denmark has a good reputation regarding education. They are in the top 10 of the PISA study.
While Denmark is safer that the webpage and various warnings on the webpages of foreign departments gives impression off, please avoid places like Noerrebro in Copenhagen, Voldsmose in Odense and Gellerup in Aarhus. Running around in those neighborhood will get you shot.
I believe that the present gang war will end if the politicians vote for the anti-gang proposal made by the Danish People party.
However if you stay out of those places and drink a beer once or twice, you will be safe. Denmark is a lovely country but as people they don't open up unless you go to a bar with them or drink in the parks if you are under 18 years of age. In Denmark it is legal to purchase and drink al kind of alcohol once you are 16.
The two other websites in the other answer is pure marketing and very POV. No country in the world are like a Disney cartoon - not even Denmark

Norway is not in the EU.Daisy Said:
How easy is it for an American to get an education in Denmark/Sweden/Norway?We Answered:
Yes, they would. If you are getting a medical degree, however, you have to do your residency in the US.The cost of living is some of the highest in the world in the Scandinavian countries. Norway is a bit more (generally) than Sweden and Denmark is a bit less. But they are all extraordinarily expensive, expecially if you are used to living in America.
Don't ever, ever, ever ask for a doggy bag in a restaurant. Seriously, you might as well go eat out of the dumpster if you are going to do that. It's also good manners to leave a spoonful of your food on your plate. Eat everything with a knife and fork (even a hamburger or a sandwich) unless you are at McDonald's.
People aren't as outgoing here as they are in the US, so it will take patience and time to make friends.

I need to write an argumentative research paper about education in Denmark, what's an interesting topic? We Answered:
Denmark has an education voucher system that our government (mainly liberals) do not want in our country because they argue that it would hurt our education system and bring down our math and science education, yet Denmark ranks far above us in math and science test scores. The fact is, the NEA teacher's union does not want us to have a voucher system because they would have less control over U.S. education. But most of the countries that out score us have some form of voucher system and the data proves that having school choice creates happier parents and better students. Parents are more involved in a school that they like and they tend to be more hands-on as well.
There is plenty of data out there to prove my point. You can go into schools here that have closed due to the No child left behind program and how some schools were not cutting it-a school district in my area-the Kansas City Missouri School District is one that closed if you need an example and millions of dollars were poured into it to no avail. Most countries that offer vouchers also spend less per student per academic year than in the U.S. and still-they out-score our kids.
