What are the statistics of children in education in developing countries? We Answered:
The Population Reference Bureau is great for this kind of data. You need Acrobat Acrobat Reader (free to download) to see the first link or most of the documents on the second.I did some research on China in the 80s, a time when only about 12% of people got to attend any high school at all.

Education in developing countries, what are you going to do?We Answered:
Schools are technologically obsolete.I bought an OLPC on the Give 1 Get 1 plan. I have created a reading list of free science fiction eBooks. The sci-fi books I read in grade school taught me more about science than my teachers and they could not teach math worth a crap.
So the solution is good educational software for Linux. The problem may become one of American kids being miseducated by our DUMB teachers.
The US spent billions on nuclear missiles. The Soviets spent billions on nuclear missiles. But with all of this BS about capitalism and socialism and communism when do you hear anyone say accounting should e mandatory in the schools? Double-entry accounting is 700 years old. Aren't these computers powerful enough to handle it?
We don't require our dumb economists to study accounting before they take economics. LOL
