Can you kindly tell me about the education system in UK?We Answered:
Between the ages of 4 and 11 we go to Primary School, sometimes called "Junior and Infant School".Between the ages of 11 and 16 we go to secondary school, we have to do exams a the age of 16 for our G.C.S.E (General Certificate of Secondary Education) These are taken in a varsity of subjects some of which we get to choose - although we have to take exams in;
English Language
English Literature
Mathematics
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
History (we learn about the Kings and Queens, the English Civil War, the slave trade, British Empire, Egyptian empire, Roman Empire, The Great War, World War II, How the UK changed from an absolute monarchy to a democracy with a constitutional monarchy, the USA and Europe after world war II and How the 4 countries of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales came to combine to form the United Kingdom!)
Welsh Language (only in Wales)
Welsh Literature (again, only in Wales)
After 16 we get to choose whether we want to go into the Sixth Form (the part of the secondary school for 16 -18 year-olds) and study for 'A' Levels (Advanced Levels) or go and get a job
'A' Levels are the highest level you can get in a British school, you take only three subjects and learn them in loads of detail, and it’s meant to prepare us for university!
We have to wear uniforms (usually shirt, school tie and blazer with black trousers for boys and black skirt for girls)
We have assembly every day and all sit in the hall as the Headmaster reads us the notices and stuff.
Apart from that it's pretty much the same (!)

You are never too old to learn. There is lots of information for adult learners on the official Directgov website here:http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAnd…
You could also telephone the Learndirect helpline on 0800 101 901 or visit their website here:
