Patrick Said:

We Answered:

Yes there are.. Rgister at the site donorschoose.org and submit a proposal. It has worked for me several times in the past.

Marshall Said:

Is it inapprpriate to ask teachers for support money for study abroad?

We Answered:

teachers don't get paid that much, but if you ask them for support, you will put them in an awkward position, hard for them to say no but at the same time have to support their families. I guess unless that teacher is awfully rich and is just teaching for fun, you shouldn't. Wait until college if you don't have the money to do so, you will have plenty of time to study aboard, and by that time you will get real college credits as well as financial aids and scholarships counted towards your studying aboard.

Barry Said:

Where can I find a free template to help me set up an Access database for an educational foundation?

We Answered:

There are many templates available to download from the Microsoft website at www.office.microsoft.com and search templates.

Marion Said:

I need an educational grant?

We Answered:

Check out Federal Student Aid Web Site or FAFSA http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

I suggest you explore all federal funding and grant options at the Federal Student Aid website http://federalstudentaid.ed.gov/

You may also want to read the Handbook of the Pell Grant -- this is an 86 page document that contains everything about the grant
http://ifap.ed.gov/sfahandbooks/attachme…

Or you can call the Federal Student Aid Information Center http://www.ed.gov/programs/fpg/gtepfpg.p… at 1-800-433-3243 and ask them if there are any programs for you

Aside from FAFSA http://www.fafsa.ed.gov and Pell Grant http://www.ed.gov/programs/fpg/index.htm… , you may want to explore private foundation grants

Also check out Fastweb http://www.fastweb.com

For private grants, you may want to check the Foundation Center's Foundation Grants for Individuals Online http://gtionline.fdncenter.org . It's a subscription based website ($9.95 per month) and their opening blurb says that the database is ideal for "students, artists, academic researchers, libraries and financial aid offices." You may be able to find grants from private foundations.

Felix Said:

College Stuff help !?

We Answered:

The table on page 3 give a good "at a glance" description of all of these. Read a bit further into the book for a more detailed explanation of each.. but in 6 years, these amounts and type of aid will prob be different.
