Health care bill, what does this have to do with health reform? We Answered:
Thanks. This is jaw-dropping.I'd like to add that the process of drafting and passing this Health Care Reform Bill has proven what a colossal failure our mainstream left-wing media is and that journalism is D-E-A-D. The public takes some of the blame for being ill-informed about much of this until it was too late but what can we say about papers like the Washington Post and the New York Times who under-report or flat out don't report about what really is going on in Washington DC? And what about these dopey press corps. reporters who only ask Robert Gibbs softball questions and laugh at his jokes instead of insisting that he answer the questions, and fawning TV interviewers who cream their pants whenever they're in the same room with Obama? Where were the hard, challenging questions that would've informed the general public? Why is it up to Fox and talk radio and alternative media to do all the dirty work? At least the people are finally waking up. Let's hope it's not too late to kill this bill.

Has the internet made life better, or worse? We Answered:
It's been mixed. There are some things that it does well and other things not so well. I think we have actually lost the community we once had in the real world. We are busier than ever. I know that I am and I feel I should be doing more. But when? I don't know. I do so much now. I still feel that I fall short.I like Facebook. I've been able to reconnect with friends, acquaintances, and extended family. I agree with you on "old" friends but I've made some new friends on Facebook. People that I had met years ago but never really got to know and have gotten to know them better. We seem to have more in common.
But again too much of anything is not good. It would be better if we had time to be out with "real" people but if the online world is all that we have time for then it's better than nothing.
I like that the internet puts a lot of information at your finger tips. I still like going to the library but again time and hours it is open are still factors.
edit: I don't really care for the people in my city. Maybe I just haven't met the right people. Too often I just hear low class people. I'll give you an example fresh from yesterday. This woman who seemed down to earth and friendly was talking to someone else. She was talking about how drinking is so important to her life (beer, etc.). Other people seem to be so short-tempered. Bad drivers galore too. My husband has a relative up the street from us and I hear him yelling at his kids. He sounds like the druggie he at least used to be. Maybe he's not now but he has the same kind of voice/tone that I've heard before. (People that I stay away from because they are going nowhere in life.) I still want to be apart of a community of people that just have it together. I've been around people like that. Facebook gives me a version of it. It is superficial and not a good substitute but it's better than nothing. My husband stays away from his relative. He reminds me of his brother who I don't like. Just a good time party boy that hasn't grown up even though he has kids.

This is a complete scam -- please don't fall for it.The part about the Gates Foundation existing is mostly true, although they have some of the details wrong. (Patty Stonesifer is not a 'Mr.')
But the Gates Foundation doesn't give out 50 donations at random, and they don't give grants to individuals, and you aren't going to receive one, and they wouldn't ask for any money up front, and their email addresses aren't on hotmail...

Senior Year of High School no classes what to do?We Answered:
I had the same problem. My only other option was to obtain my GED. I opted to go to school instead. I took PE, Office assistant, teaching assistant, and English for college credit. Oh yeah, study hall too. I know it is frustrating, but it probably wouldn't hurt to take a year and just relax so you don't burn out.Alvin Said:
Would you agree to getting rid of these government programs? We Answered:
You have way too much time on your hands, too much damn time! Wish I could sit around all day and think of programs to hate on, I'm sure to people who use those programs- they are important.
