The key is to satisfy their curiosity at what ever age they show it. Sex ed is also not a one time thing. It should develop over the years; the same way their self identity and personality do. When potty training they learn about how men and women use the bathroom. Once they get older they will want to know why our bodies are different. Between ages 8 and 12 (sometimes younger) they will find out that it feels good to rub down there. That is when to teach them about privacy and private things. Around this age is also a good time for them to know what sex is; not too many details but enough so they aren't getting their information from other kids. From there it's a matter of keeping her trust so that she lets you know when she needs condoms or BC. Realistically about 64% of girls are not virgins at the start of their senor year. Since throughout history humans have been getting married and running their own households before they were 16 this should not surprise anyone.
