1. £5,000 – a university would never give that much for 4 a’s

2. Not all students have the chance to do 4full A-levels

3. but Imperial college does give £300 if you get 3 A’S and you put them as your first choice

The number of students enrolled in higher education *and* who receive government aid has increased since 1990 - the students just get loans (with favorable interest rates) instead of grants. By making it easy for just about any student to get a loan, rather than just the upper-echelon few who earned grants, universities are more diverse now.

If you talk in your essay about the shift to loans, the benefits of allowing everyone to get a secondary education, and the improved diversity, I think those three points should carry your paper to a good mark.

The amount awarded is based on a percentage of your income and savings along with your number of dependents. I also recommend checking with your company's human resource office because some places do offer a tuition reimbursement plan. Good luck!

Yes they do, go to a government office. Most grants anymore is to train for a specific job. Our Nursing course is paid for by the government. I am sure that teachers have that also.
But you are talking a 4 years course. They may train you to be a teachers aid or assistant. Which is not much better than minimum wage. But you do learn computers and classrooms and can further training in night classes. Go to VOTECH and just talk to the people there they can better inform you.
Illigal immigrants do not get any special favors.

it depends on where you intend to study . you either get it from the county council or VEC in your home county , not the one you go to college in . if you go to the county council website and search for grant infromation it will tell you where to apply
