Generally no. The BIT degree is considered too lightweight.

Another point to consider as to the rapid spread in Africa:

Cultural Lies.

A Christian Missionary spoke at our Church and he mentioned to us that the culture in the area of Africa that he was working in promoted this lie: That a man who has AIDS can be "cured" by sleeping with a virgin. This very act has acted like an uncontrolled wildfire.

I have a girlfriend, white, on the west coast. She contracted AIDS from her boyfriend. He apparently was sleeping around or into drugs. I don't know which. My friend has been on AIDS drug cocktails for a number of years. I fear for her life, and her son is devastated by this situation.

So, AIDS is still getting around - educated or not. But in Africa and other areas of the world where lack of communication and education or wars keep the truth out, people will continue to die. It's like a mass genocide thru ignorance and prejudice!

It's very sad and tragic for all of mankind.
