Yes, it's true. In Kentucky passing a basic English proficiency test is required before you can work in a coal mine. The reason for this is obvious. You won't be surprised to learn the mine operators are pushing hard to do away with the test. Why hire Americans at $20 an hour when you can hire illegal aliens at $10?

PS I have to agree with SOME of the posters here, your facts are good but I am not sure you are blaming the correct people. I am more inclined to believe that It is our government that is doing this stuff or the people who control the FED........the ones who really pull the puppet strings and have control of the entire political arena.

Basically, it's saying that Civil war is terrible for the public education system within that country. Their study shows that after a civil war, schools (as buildings) and roads to them are destroyed; along with the personnel (or teachers). Also, money is taken from the education system and used to fight the civil.

I would think...Hallelujah, someone who would read bills before signing on to them. And someone who would hestitate for maybe a second before spending, unlike the rest of the clowns in there, who seem to feel that money just materializes. If he is anything like his father, he could defianately do something to temper the idiocy that is our current Congress.

Well for starters, your question is FAR too long. Without having read the whole thing(your fault, not mine lol), desegregation and forced intergration are 2 different things. I always side with the constitution, which as far as I am concerned, feel it is strictly a parent's right to decide where their child goes to school. Not the gonvernment's. Never the gov't.
This is why public school needs to end altogether and private schools be allowed to blossom and get into what's important. Teaching kids real maths and sciences. Not screwing around with this politically correct crap.
