Well, for one, you have only been married 3 years and she has a income so she won't get spousal support. Second, she better start thinking about this again cause if she fights it, a judge will split the debt not make just one person pay it. You agreeing to pay all debt is insane but your choice. I personally would kick her to the curb, file, give her the furniture and split the debt. No kids and she has a job so she is on her own. If she wants to be a ***** about it, go ahead and see a judge. She will be shooting herself in the foot.

Army Reserves gives you 20,000 for college. During active duty, you could get up to 73,000 for college. You will not use this money if on active duty because while active duty you will get to use 4,500 per year for college.

as2633 is well meaning, but she doesn't know what she's talking about. Disregard her post and 'edit'.

Once your stepdad's benefits were signed over to you, they are yours unless he revokes them. You must use them within the designated timelines.

If you marry your sweetie, he MAY be able to transfer benefits, but not with the 36 month calculation that as2633 gave you (that applies to him earning the benefits to begin with).

No, you'll lose your GI bill benefits and most other benefits as well. If you serve less than half of your original enlistment contract you lose.
